POSITION SUMMARY

Blanca Commercial Real Estate, Inc., the leading independent commercial real estate brokerage, property management and advisory services firm in Florida known for delivering excellence across its commercial real estate services platform, and its collaborative and caring culture for its clients, its team and the communities it serves, is searching for a dynamic professional to serve as an AP Specialist and support Senior Staff Accountant with invoicing and billing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable Specialists assist the Senior Staff Accountant with invoicing and billing. Key duties and responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Specialist include but not limited to:

  • Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
  • Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
  • Analyzing workflow processes
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Ensuring bills are entered in the accounting software in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
  • Processing due invoices for payments
  • Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
  • Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts

ACCOUNTANT PAYABLE SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years AP experience required
  • Commercial property accounting experience a plus
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Good problem-solving and time management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • MRI/Yardi Accounting Software experience a plus
